No. The artworks we offer at Gige Gallery are high-quality fine art prints of carefully selected art pieces. Our aim is to bring the aesthetics of museums and galleries into living spaces in an accessible way.

Fine art print; is an art print produced with high-quality paper and printing techniques that strongly reflect the feeling of color, detail, and texture. Unlike a decorative poster, it is a more refined, long-lasting product that gives a sense of collection.

The artworks you see in our store are offered as fine art prints. Prints are sent unframed as standard; however, if you wish to complete your artwork, you can add any frame you like from our selection of frames, which are offered separately.

Both options are high-quality, matte-finish Hahnemühle papers, preferred for fine art printing. The main differences between them are grammage, cotton content, surface feel, paper texture, and the character they add to the print.

Hahnemühle Matt Fibre is a lighter and simpler-looking paper with a grammage of 200 gsm. It is not cotton-based; its cellulose-based structure offers a more modern, clean, and balanced appearance. Thanks to its matte surface, it does not reflect light; it displays colors naturally, clearly, and softly. It is an ideal option for those who want a more minimalist, contemporary, and plain look.

Hahnemühle Photo Rag, on the other hand, is a premium fine art paper with a grammage of 308 gsm and is 100% cotton-based. It has a more substantial, soft-textured, and artistic surface. Its cotton structure gives the print a deeper, more refined, and collectible character. It is recommended for those who want a more museum-quality, textured, and high-end printing experience.

In short; for a simpler, lighter, and more modern look, choose Matt Fibre 200 gsm, and for a more substantial, 100% cotton-based, textured, and premium feel, choose Photo Rag 308 gsm

Each artwork is selected based on its aesthetic power, its place in art history, the story it carries, and the character it will bring to living spaces. For us, it's not just about offering beautiful-looking pieces, but about bringing together artworks that can bear your mark and add meaning to your space.
